Clerical Administrator & Co-ordinator

Initial contract until September 2023 with extension dependent on continued funding. However, the service has a very strong funding success record

Salary: £13,000 – £13,650

Main Base:     Portree

Hours:            25 hours per week, 10 – 3 Monday to Friday (additional hours may be available)

This is an opportunity to make a valuable contribution to the work of the Community Care Forum which is a charitable organisation managing the Skye & Lochalsh Young Carers’ Service.

We are looking for a person with commitment and enthusiasm who can:


  • Provide clerical support to the Manager and Management Committee
  • Assist the Financial Administrator with scanning and filing
  • Assist with the preparation of respite outings
  • Assist with fundraising co-ordination
  • Maintain staff records and maintain inventories
  • Answer telephones, take minutes, banking
  • Any other general admin duties as required
  • Assist with staff and volunteer co-ordination
  • Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Have good computing skills including Word, Excel and social media experience
  • Be flexible in order to fulfil the needs of the service
