DONATIONS RECEIVED

November 2021

Huge thanks to John & Rhona Mccran who got married on the 30th October at the Sconser Lodge Hotel. In lieu of wedding gifts, they asked their friends to donate to us. With all of your generous donations you raised £1240.00 for our young carers. This money will go towards the running of the service benefiting all of the young carers.

December 2020

Huge thanks to all those who entered Scotland’s Photo of the Year annual competition and chose to donate their entry fee to us. You raised £238.17 for our young carers. This money will go towards the Christmas respite activities.

Many thanks to Ms Laura Cunningham for her generous donation of £50. This will be put towards the Christmas respite activities.

The Royal Caledonian Charities Trust are regular supporters of our young carers. We are very grateful for their donation of £2000 which will be used towards the running of the service benefiting all the young carers.

We are very thankful for the continued support of the John Casson Foundation and for there latest donation of £2500 which will be used towards the Christmas food hampers for the young carers.

Huge thanks to everyone at Muirhall Energy for their very generous donation of  £500. Their message says: Wishing Skye & Lochalsh Young Carers a very happy Christmas from all at Muirhall Energy. Christmas can be an especially difficult time for young carers. Whilst many of their peers and friends are thinking about unwrapping presents and spending time with their families, our young carers may be faced with the additional pressures of tidying the house, preparing food and caring for their loved ones. This donation will be used towards providing respite activities to the young carers.

Many thanks to Ms. Rosy White for her very kind donation of £40. This donation will go towards providing respite activities for the young carers.

We are very grateful for the anonymous donation of £100. We will use this to support our young carers by giving them festive respite activities and games.

An anonymous donation of £275 was gratefully received on 3rd November. This money will be used towards providing food parcels for those young carers families most in need.
